for most all UV systems in the field. UV Doctor specializes
in applications that covers magnetic to electronic replacement
with outputs up to 4000 watts. UV Doctor recomends ugrading
the mangnetic ballast to an electronic ballast. UV Doctor's
"Electronic Ballast Kit" will improve the efficiency
of the energy delivered to the system by as much as 30%. Our
electronic ballasts run cooler, weigh less and feature quick
disconnects for easy replacement.

SENSORS
& MEASURING
Many
UV disinfection systems are equipped with a UV sensor. Sensors
measure UV intensity of the UV lamp. Based on the output signal
from the sensor, the system can be programmed to alarm in
adverse circumstances. It is equipped with an adjustable alarm
set point with relay contacts. UV Doctor offers the latest
in NIST measuring technology from well known industry leaders
such as EIT, International Light and Solatel.
